Production Manager
Position Overview:
As the Production Manager for SHAMAYIM Studios, working closely with renowned fashion photographer Shamayim, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and coordination of all aspects of photoshoot production. This role is essential to ensure that the productions operate efficiently, on time, and within budget while upholding the creative standards and vision of Shamayim and his clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with Shamayim and the creative team to define the scope and objectives of each photoshoot, ensuring alignment with the creative vision.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
2. Resource Management:
- Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, props, and locations, to meet project requirements.
- Oversee talent bookings, including models, makeup artists, hair stylists, and wardrobe stylists.
3. Logistics and Scheduling:
- Plan and coordinate photoshoot logistics, including location scouting, permits, transportation, and catering.
- Create and maintain detailed shooting schedules to ensure efficient use of time on set.
4. Budget Oversight:
- Develop and manage budgets for each project, tracking expenses, and ensuring that costs remain within budgetary constraints.
- Handle negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure cost-effective resources.
5. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks or issues that could impact the success of a photoshoot and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
6. Team Coordination:
- Lead and manage a team of production assistants, ensuring everyone is clear on their roles and responsibilities.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
7. Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about project progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
8. Post-Production Support:
- Liaise with the post-production team to ensure that all necessary assets, files, and information are transferred for editing and retouching.
- Review final images to ensure they align with the creative direction and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in the fashion or photography industry.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
